Ralph Riganti

Ralph plays guitar, bass and keyboards in Sgt. Pepper and sings lead and background vocals.

Ralph moved to the San Fernando Valley in 1960 from Brooklyn, New York. He has been playing music professionally for more than 35 years and as a teenager was a member of a band called The Offsprings with Tommy Sillen. He joined oldies group Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries in 1973 as lead guitarist and singer. Captain Cardiac’s high voltage performances have been enjoyed by corporations and private functions worldwide including the US, Europe, Canada, and Mexico.

Ralph’s other musical skills include playing the drums and piano. Ralph loves rock and roll music from the 1950’s and 1960’s and he is an avid Beatles fan and collector. Two of the many highlights of Ralph’s career were meeting Paul McCartney at Abbey Road Studios, and performing at a function for President Gerald and Betty Ford, who just happened to dance together right in front of Ralph on stage.

On his “day job,” Ralph has over twenty-five years experience working in areas of production planning, warehouse operations and supply chain management. He currently manages critical inventory for a leading human therapeutics company in the biotech industry. Ralph has lived in Newbury Park with his wife Teri and their daughter Kellie for the past 15 years.

Ralph is thrilled to be performing with the Beatles tribute band Sgt. Pepper. He plays a red 1970 Gibson ES-335 through a Line 6 modeling amp and uses a Shure Beta 58A microphone.
